Type AW - Alphawedge

Description

The Alphawedge (AW) is designed to lock quickly and securely into the re-entrant channel of Alphalok or Ribdeck AL decking. The product consists of two parts - a wedge and a plate and has a Safe Working Load of 1kN. The Wedge can be tapped to accommodate thread rod sizes M6, M8 or M10.

• Pre-assemble the Alphawedge onto the threaded rod as shown in diagram 1.
• Insert the wedge into the re-entrant channel of the decking, flat surface uppermost and rotate until the chamfered cams engage in the sides of the channel, holding the wedge firmly in place.
• Slide the plate up the threaded rod, over the wedge, to lock it in position in the channel.
• Tighten the locknut beneath the plate to hold the assembly in position
